This forum topic has been created to allow people to coordinate carpooling down to the Virginia Lobby Day on January 18th.

If you are interested in offering a ride or in finding a ride, please post a reply and provide the following information to help people coordinate:

• Weather you are offering to drive, looking for a ride, or either
• Your general location so that people aren't driving across the metro area to find each other
• The time you would like to depart and return
• Any other relevant information

Once you find a potential match, you can make direct contact with each other by clicking on the commenter's user name (i.e., look for the "Submitted by X" byline and click on the name).  That will take you to a form where you can send a private message to the user who posted the comment and then you can start sharing private information such as phone numbers without putting this on the web for the whole world to see.  However, please understand that the private message will reveal your registered e-mail address to the person you contact.
 
As for me, I live in the Herndon area and could offer a ride to up to 2 people. However, we will probably depart early and come back late and may have a meal with family when we are down there, but we should have two spots in the car.
